Ruth Tsivkin, MD
Psychiatrist
Dr. Tsivkin is a board-certified General Psychiatrist; a board-certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Tsivkin received her Bachelor of Science degree from Columbia University with Magna Cum Laude and graduated from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She then completed her residency in General Psychiatry at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, where she continued for a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship. Dr. Tsivkin has published as a first author her findings in psychopharmacology, and has won several awards including a “Student Leader Award’ from Columbia University, as well as an ‘Outstanding Resident Award” from the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. Tsivkin provides diagnostic evaluations and psychopharmacologic treatment for adults in Premium Health. Dr. Tsivkin speaks English and Hebrew, and Russian.
