We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled hands-on Senior Project Management Consultant to manage the day-to-day execution of complex, cross-functional projects within our organization. This role involves hands-on project management of medium and large-scale initiatives, such as new capital developments and site openings, requiring close coordination across various departments, including operations, finance, technology, and marketing. The successful candidate will focus on establishing and managing project plans, coordinating tasks, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Additionally, this role will be pivotal in championing project management discipline across the organization, driving the adoption of best practices and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. This role will report directly to both the Chief Digital and Information Officer (CDIO) and the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO).


Time Commitment:

Full Time:

  • Monday-Thursday- 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
  • Friday- 9:00 AM-3:00 PM


Responsibilities:

Project/Program Management:

  • Manage the day-to-day execution of complex, cross-functional projects.
  • Develop, maintain, and adjust detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Coordinate tasks and deliverables across teams, ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Establish and implement a robust project management framework tailored to the needs of the organization.
  • Develop and maintain a stakeholder management framework to ensure clear communication and engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Define project milestones, create a detailed work break down structure, and identify dependencies to ensure clear sequencing of tasks.
  • Monitor progress against defined milestones, proactively managing risks and resolving issues to avoid delays.
  • Lead project status meetings, ensuring all team members are aligned and informed of project developments and follow-up actions.
  • Prepare and present regular project status updates to executive leadership. and other key stakeholders.

Project Management Evangelism and Maturity:

  • Serve as a hands-on mentor to project teams and department leaders, providing practical guidance on project management best practices.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to build project management skills across the organization.
  • Develop and implement a practical and adaptable project management framework.
  • Actively promote a culture of project management excellence and continuous improvement, encouraging and inspiring teams to apply best practices in their daily work.
  • Wrike Rollout Leadership:
  • Lead the implementation and rollout of Wrike as the organization’s project management software.
  • Train staff on Wrike’s features and functionalities, with a focus on real-world application to current projects, including setting up projects, tracking progress, and reporting.
  • Monitor Wrike adoption across the organization, providing ongoing support and guidance to ensure its integration with our project management approach.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP) preferred.
  • 7-10 years of experience in project/program management, with a proven track managing project schedules, budgets, communications, documentation, and team assignments effectively.
  • Prior experience building and operating a Project Management Office or Enterprise Project Management office is a plus.
  • Experience managing healthcare or construction projects a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and experience in stakeholder management and project management best practices.
  • Expertise in project/program management, with a proven ability to establish milestones and effectively manage schedules, budgets, communications, documentation, and team assignments.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
  • Self-starter with intellectual curiosity and strong attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex issues and navigate ambiguity.
  • Ability to think critically about the goals, deliverables, and plans for projects to ensure alignment to the business / project goal(s) and priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and train teams in project management principles, while fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and drive change across all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency with productivity and project management tools such as Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Project, Word, Monday, Wrike, etc.

Compensation:

Commensurate with years of experience and credentials, $100,000 - $160,000 per year
