The Program Supervisor ensures the smooth operation of the School Based Health Center. In addition to general oversight of the department, the Program Supervisor oversees a team of administrative staff, managing performance, analyzing staffing needs and supporting the hiring of additional staff members. Additionally, the Program Supervisor plays a critical role in scheduling across the practice, responding to staff and patient inquiries, ensuring appropriate documentation and record keeping, and providing support to the Behavioral Health Administrator when necessary. Utilizing a lens of efficiency and customer service in all aspects of care delivery, the Program Supervisor is focused on delivering a patient experience which meets Premium Health’s standards of CARE: Compassion, Agility, Respect and Excellence.

Sunday-Thursday 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
• Greeting, and directing patients including small children, adolescents, and their families as they arrive onsite
• Ensuring proper documentation and record keeping to meet state and SBHC requirements for all patients
• Checking vital signs and conducting phlebotomy procedures for patients as needed
• Scheduling and tracking of clinician appointments using EHRs and other software, ensuring that all providers are at capacity
• Managing provider schedules and timecards
• Engaging with primary care physicians on a regular basis to ensure seamless coordination of patient care
• Ordering and stocking library of psychometric questionnaires, office, and therapy supplies, as well as other administrative duties
• Supervision of administrative staff, including receptionists, front desk personnel and behavioral health coordinators
• Monitoring and assisting staff with their day-to-day activities including clinic and physician scheduling, answering incoming phone calls and addressing patient concerns and inquiries, along with strict adherences to department service standards
• Reviewing staff appointment scheduling for accuracy and completeness to maintain the highest levels of right appointment, at the right time, with the right provider
• Maintaining high quality of customer service and data integrity in the management of patient calls
• Conducting staffing analysis on an ongoing basis to proactively identify staffing needs and drive the procurement of additional employees for the department
• Maintain open communication with the school administration/faculty at Darchei Torah
• Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year end reporting
• Assisting in the creation of training materials and scheduling guidelines, along with continued training of staff with scheduling appointments
• Assisting in planning, monitoring and/or managing departmental budget
• Coordinating and scheduling community outreach and community health education events and programs including workshops and group therapy offerings
• Tracking and maintaining department-wide metrics and patient information, and maintaining contact/referral resources for the department
• Taking a solutions-approach to improvement of the patient experience and optimization of operations across the department
• High school diploma or GED, required
• Bachelor’s degree in health care administration or related field is preferred
• 1-3 years of professional experience in health administration or a related role
• 1 year health care management experience is preferred
• Possesses the capacity and initiative to operate independently, taking ownership and responsibility for daily management and following-through on assignments with little prompting or supervision.
