Premium Health is looking for outstanding candidates for the Practice Manager position at our Internal Medicine practice.

Premium Health is looking for a Practice Manager to push the team to be more efficient, improve patient care, and have a lasting impact on the patient experience.

Ideal candidates will have prior experience as a practice manager.


Time Commitment:

Monday-Thursday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Friday: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM

*Required to be on call as needed*


Responsibilities:

• Providing direct supervision to the practice’s employees, ensuring patient-facing staff are providing a high-quality

patient experience that meets Premium Health’s standards of CARE; Compassionate, Agile, Respectful, and Excellent.

• Actively managing the administrative team; assigning work and tasks and seeing that it they are carried out

correctly and efficiently, overseeing scheduling (vacation, holidays, etc.), ensuring adequate staffing at all times;

ensuring staff understand their roles and responsibilities; supporting and encouraging continued growth of staff and

providing opportunities for advancement.

• Acting as a liaison between providers, patients, and staff; demonstrating ability to answer patient/provider

questions that arise relating to the department.

• Keeping abreast of billing, coding and reimbursement related issues as they apply to the department and

facilitating staff education in regard to these changes; structuring the appropriate flow of data to ensure timely and

appropriate management of clinical and financial matters.

• Ensuring the continual efficient and compliant operational performance of the department; ensuring compliance

with all rules and regulations.

• In collaboration with the Information Technology Department, ensuring that all reports required for department

compliance are generated and maintained accurately.

• Assisting in developing and maintaining objectives, policies and procedures to ensure the efficient operation of the

department; working to streamline operations and effectively apply new concepts and techniques for positive

outcomes; identifying and implementing technology to improve operations.


Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED

• Bachelor’s degree; preferred fields include health care administration, public health, health information

management or related

• Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist, Office Manager, Medical Biller or another administrative role

within the health care sector is an asset

• 3 – 5 years progressive health care management experience or experience in a medical office leadership role

• Must possess the capacity and initiative to operate independently, taking ownership and responsibility for daily

management and following-through on assignments with little prompting or supervision

• Compassionate and willing to go above and beyond to provide treatments that meet individual’s and families’

unique needs

• Strong leadership, management, motivation, training and goal-setting skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with Physicians, other medical

professionals, office personnel employees and patients

Preferred:

Compensation:

$70,000 - $100,000 commensurate with experience
