Premium Health is looking for a Marketing and Community Engagement Specialist to engage with the Borough Park Community and be a liaison on behalf of the organization.
Plan, coordinate, and facilitate health education events, including lectures, workshops, and community programs.
Develop engaging content and materials for health education initiatives.
Build and maintain relationships with local organizations, schools, synagogues, and community leaders.
Manage event logistics, including securing venues, booking speakers, coordinating vendors, and overseeing communications.
Proactively identify and propose new event ideas aligned with community interests.
Maintain clear communication and manage priorities to ensure tasks are completed on time.
Promote FQHC services such as preventive care, chronic disease management, and immunizations.
Conduct community needs assessments to identify health trends and gaps in services.
Assist in expanding the center’s presence and services based on community needs.
Drive outreach efforts through the website, social media, and marketing strategies.
Foster community engagement and raise awareness of health services and events.
Serve as an ambassador for Premium Health, promoting trust and cultural sensitivity.
Stay informed on healthcare trends and outreach strategies, seeking ongoing professional development.
High school diploma/GED minimum; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum 2 year of experience in community outreach and marketing, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Relevant experience in marketing, branding, and event planning preferred.
Exceptionally organized, skilled in time management and task prioritization with the ability to manage assignments simultaneously.
Must possess the capacity and initiative to operate independently, taking ownership and responsibility for daily management and following-through on assignments with little prompting or supervision.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with calendar management and office software (e.g., Outlook, Google Suite).
Maximum attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
